Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Python development team, ensuring coding standards, best practices, and high-quality deliverables.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize trading platform components using Python.
• Design and manage API integrations with data providers, brokers, and internal services.
• Implement and manage real-time data streams via WebSockets for low-latency trading systems.
• Oversee deployment pipelines, CI/CD processes, and production releases.
• Collaborate with quant researchers and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement robust testing frameworks to ensure system correctness, performance, and risk mitigation.
• Mentor the development team, encouraging learning, growth, and adherence to best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5-8 years of Python development experience with strong hands-on coding skills.
• Solid experience in API design, integration, and WebSocket-based real-time systems.
• Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, database architecture, and multi-threaded applications.
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud/on-prem deployment strategies.
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, automated testing, and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead and guide a development team.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Exposure to algorithmic trading, financial markets, or quantitative finance.
• Experience with low-latency systems and real-time data processing.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
