Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions using Python, Kafka, Snowflake, and SQL. You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to develop robust data pipelines and optimize data workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Implement real-time data streaming solutions using Kafka.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver quality data solutions.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes within Snowflake.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and resolve issues proactively.
• Document data processes and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming.
• Expertise in Snowflake data warehouse architecture and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with data modeling, data governance, and data security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
