Purchasing Administrator

As a Purchasing Administrator at Onecom, you will play a crucial role in the operations of sourcing and supplying Mobile, Telephony, and IT products to ensure timely delivery to our customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Create and maintain inventory parts in the company system - Process and manage supplier Purchase Orders (PO) following company procedures - Liaise with suppliers for timely deliveries and escalate performance issues when necessary - Maintain the Preferred Supplier List with updated information - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time customer order deliveries - Assist in sourcing new suppliers, requests for information, and inventory samples - Provide administrative support for the Purchasing team To excel in this role, you should possess: - Previous experience in commercial administration - Proven record in a purchasing team - Familiarity with Sage (desirable) - Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet strict deadlines - Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy - Exceptional organizational skills - Proficiency in IT, especially Excel, Word, and CRM systems - Logical thinking and structured approach to tasks - Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills - Effective written and verbal communication - Commitment to delivering high standards and proactive problem-solving Onecom, an award-winning Communication Technology provider in the UK, values Innovation, Integrity, Ambition, Knowledge, and Inspiration in all its endeavors.
