Purchase Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure electronic components, mechanical parts, and consumables.
  • Identify, develop, and evaluate suppliers for quality, cost, and reliability.
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, and payment terms to optimize procurement costs.
  • Collaborate with production and planning teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Track and monitor material lead times to avoid production delays.
  • Develop cost-saving initiatives and alternative sourcing strategies.
  • Maintain procurement data, purchase records, and supplier performance reports.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Candidate Skill Sets

:
  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Electronics, Mechanical, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 2 4 years of procurement experience in electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Good understanding of electronic components and manufacturing processes.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
  • A quick learner with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a startup environment.
