Job Description

Role & responsibilities

01. Develop and implement purchasing strategies for pharmaceutical products and supplies.

02. Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.

03. Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings

04. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.

05. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

06. Collaborate with Internal departments to understand their needs and requirements.

07. Analyze purchasing data and trends to make informed decisions.

08. Manage the procurement budget and track expenses.

09. Conduct regular audits of inventory and purchasing processes.

10. Generate reports to track purchase orders, invoices and other purchasing information.

11. Resol ve any issues or discrepancles with orders, deliveries and quality.

12. Coordinate with the finance department to ensure timely payments to suppliers.

13. Implement and maintain purchasing policies and procedures.

14. Train and supervise junior staff to ensure efficient operations.
