Purchase Manager

Purpose

To ensure Neologic reduces raw material, component, and transport costs by developing vendors and using market price trends, while also supporting project delivery by ensuring timely supply of all required materials.

Key Responsibilities

1.

• Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Negotiate with vendors for best prices
• Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
• Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Prepare documents required for exports
• Customs, Excise filings, import & export knowledge

• Ensure that all procurement adheres to budgeted cost in the project.
• Ensure delivery of as per schedule
• Follow-up with vendors for wrong supply & manage rectification

• Analyse market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
• Generate MIS on all procurement activities and expenditure.
• Maintain approved vendors database along with their rate contract details
