Experience: 8-12 years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Planning Engineer with strong expertise in petrochemical greenfield construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring project progress, and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure timely execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain project schedules using planning tools (Primavera / MS Project).

• Develop baseline schedules, manpower histograms, and project progress curves.

• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress and update schedules accordingly.

• Identify delays, risks, and variances in the project plan and propose corrective actions.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams for project inputs.

• Prepare project progress reports and submit them to management and clients.

• Track critical paths, milestones, and ensure project activities are aligned with targets.

• Assist in resource planning, cost analysis, and project forecasting.

• Attend project review meetings and provide planning support to the project team.

• Ensure planning processes comply with project standards and client requirements.

Requirements

• B.E / B.Tech in Petrochemical Engineering (mandatory).

• 8 to 12 years of experience in project planning for petrochemical greenfield construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of planning tools like Primavera P6 / MS Project.

• Good understanding of EPC project workflows.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet Deadlines.
