Job Description

Job Purpose

  • To provide a high-quality capital analysis service for large-scale IT projects, using SAP and other analysis tools to generate value added reports for the stakeholders.
  • To proactively deal with numerous workstreams and cross-functional teams to provide financial guide and compliance and be a focal point for all financial related project queries.
  • To provide projects analysis and administrative support documentation to deliver projects on time and cost.
  • Co-ordinate and deliver the financial processes of asset capitalization and verification.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Financial Management:

  • Manage and monitor complex project budgets across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment with overall financial targets.
  • Track and reconcile actuals, forecasts, and committed costs for large-scale IT initiatives.
  • Initiate and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) and track purchase orders (POs) through their full lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely invoice processing and alignment with contractual and procurement guidelines.
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis, accruals, and financial risk identification.
  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely financial operations.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to internal project management frameworks and financial policies.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and financial records are complete and compliant.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between IT, Finance, and PMO teams, facilitating alignment and transparency.
  • Provide guidance to project managers and workstream leads on financial processes and governance requirements.

Tool & Process Support:

  • Utilize and maintain project controlling tools (e.g., SAP, Excel).
  • Contribute to minor improvements in financial tracking templates and reporting processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, IT, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in project controlling, ideally within large, complex IT environments
  • Proficiency in financial tools and systems (e.g., SAP, Excel)
  • Awareness of Compliance & Finance Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to identify and anticipate issues then resolve them

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting large-scale IT transformation or integration projects

• Certification in project management or controlling (e.g., PMP, IPMA, CCA)

• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2)
