Project Document Controller

**Role Overview:** Trelleborg Industrial Solutions (TIS) is seeking a Document Controller to join their team. As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for handling, organizing, and distributing all project documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company, client, and industry standards. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the integrity and organization of project documentation throughout the project life cycle. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create templates for various types of documents and develop quality standards. - Review reports of testing materials, equipment certificates, processes, and products to ensure compliance with quality management systems. - Tabulate and document data relating to products, processes, and materials. - Prepare quality documentation procedures as per clients" requirements. - Ensure documents adhere to the organization's formatting and styling guidelines. - Track and follow up on the status of document review and approval. - Maintain a version control system for documents. - Establish and maintain an organized document filing and retrieval system. - Facilitate communication between different departments. - Find opportunities for process improvement within the document control system. - Provide training to staff on document control procedures and policies. - Foster awareness of the importance of document control within the organization. **Qualifications Required:** - Diploma Engineer (Mechanical) with 5+ years" experience in a similar role, or - University bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Production) with 3+ years" experience in a similar role, or - 5+ years" experience in a similar role. - Familiarity with quality standards and document control procedures. - Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. - Proficient typing and editing skills. - Attention to detail and planning skills. - Ability to facilitate change and numerical/statistical analysis. - Understanding and appreciation of engineering and science fields.
