Programmer for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs for elder equipment in the manufacturing facility. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and safe operation of machinery, particularly those utilized in elder equipment manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: - Design, program, implement, and maintain PLC programs for elder equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand equipment requirements and develop PLC programs accordingly. - Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting to identify and rectify any issues with the PLC systems. - Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for PLC systems. - Assist with the installation and commissioning of new PLC systems. - Provide training and support to junior team members. - Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in PLC programming and industrial automation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - At least 5 years of experience in PLC programming, preferably in an industrial manufacturing setting. - Proficiency in PLC programming languages, such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Function Block Diagram. - Strong knowledge of industrial automation, including SCADA and HMI systems. - Familiarity with elder equipment, such as wheelchairs, mobility aids, and medical devices, is preferred. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Experience with Rockwell Automation products (Allen-Bradley) is a plus.
