Program Manager

Job Summary

• The Program Manager will lead multiple technology-driven projects and programs across IndiGo’s B2C marketplace ecosystem, ensuring timely, efficient, and high-quality delivery. This role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end project management, from planning and execution to delivery and closure while maintaining alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams including product, design, development, QA, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects within scope, time, and budget. A strong technical foundation, analytical mindset, and leadership capability are essential to succeed in this role.
• Experience in Aviation, Travel, or Hospitality-related projects will be an advantage, as will exposure to consumer-facing (B2C) platforms and digital transformation initiatives.

Roles & Resposibilties

Program & Project Management:

• Lead end-to-end delivery across multiple projects, ensuring all initiatives are executed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

• Define project goals, success metrics, and roadmaps aligned with business objectives and marketplace strategy.

Resource & Budget Management:

• Oversee allocation of budgets, manage vendor relationships, and ensure optimal resource utilization.

Agile Delivery:

• Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to drive collaboration and accountability within delivery teams.

Risk & Issue Management:

• Identify potential project risks, create mitigation plans, and ensure timely resolution of delivery challenges.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and project reviews.

Process Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and performance enhancements to drive delivery efficiency.

People Leadership:

• Mentor team members, foster innovation, and build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)

Experience: 8+ years of overall experience, including at least 2+ years in project or delivery management roles

Methodologies: Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Waterfall, SDLC
