A core focus of this position is investigating fraud and abuse cases, identifying and analyzing patterns and crafting solutions to combat and prevent fraudulent activity. You ll partner closely with the Engg and Product teams, ensuring that feedback loops are established to continuously refine and improve risk detection mechanisms. Your responsibilities will span both strategic and operational domains, including budget management, timelines, and stakeholder engagement.

What the Candidate Will Do ----
- Program Leadership: Defines program scope, OKRs, and KPIs. Ensures alignment with stakeholder objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams across ops, engineering and product for all risk ops needs with Uber.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate program risks and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
Basic Qualifications ----
- Experience of working with scaled operations teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to influence people across a broad variety of job functions through your relationships
- Self-motivated with a strong affinity for strategic problem solving, operations management and driving action
Preferred Qualifications ----
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Risk program management or operations management (5 years preferred)
- Experience in solving problems, both structured and ambiguous, at scale with strong attention to detail in fast changing business environments with technical mindset
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, and recommendations and drive customer and product-focused decisions
