We collaborate with government and non- government stakeholders in using big data to improve infrastructure and services in cities. We are a small multi-disciplinary group of social scientists, architects, urban planners, designers and technologists.

Responsibilities

·        Design and administer research tools such as surveys, interviews, FGDs, and observational checklists

·        Conduct site visits for audits, surveys, documentation, and collection of primary and secondary data

·        Undertake both quantitative and qualitative research on urban issues such as transportation, safety, women’s empowerment, and economic development

·        Analyze data and support preparation of internal and external communication and project deliverables

·        Engage and collaborate with stakeholders from government, private sector, and communities

·        Support report writing and documentation aligned with project monitoring and evaluation framework,

Desired Skills and Qualifications

·        Master’s degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, Social Sciences, Economics, or a related field

·        Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience

·        Experience with data collection, research design, and analysis

·        Understanding of policy implementation and evaluation, including program evaluation methods and performance metrics

·        Proficiency in MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with a working knowledge of data analysis and visualization

·        Working knowledge of GIS and Adobe Creative Suite

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi

·        Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders including government officials, private sector, civil society, and research institutions

·        Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments with minimal supervision

·        Proven ability to multitask and effectively lead and implement tasks and programs

·        Willingness to travel for work

·        Interest in working at the intersection of gender, mobility, and social equity
