Position Overview:

The Department of Botany invites applications for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. The ideal candidates will contribute to high-quality teaching, research, and departmental growth in the field of Botany.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Botany, including practical and field work.
• Design course materials, conduct lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions.
• Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, and practical work.
• Guide students in project work, dissertations, and research activities.
• Engage in active research and publish papers in reputed journals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and academic planning.
• Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs.
• Mentor junior faculty, research scholars, and students (for Associate Professor and Professor).
• Initiate research collaborations and secure funding (for Professor level).
• Carry out administrative and other duties assigned by the Head of Department

Qualifications and Experience:

• M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Botany or related discipline (as per UGC norms).
• Teaching or postdoctoral research experience preferred.
• Fresh Ph.D. holders are also encouraged to apply.
