Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Production Oversight:

  Monitor and optimize daily glass container production processes to meet quality and quantity targets.

• Process Improvement:

  Identify bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

• Equipment Management:

  Ensure smooth operation of IS machines, forehearths, and forming equipment. Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Quality Assurance:

  Collaborate with QA teams to maintain product standards for pharmaceutical, food, and beverage-grade glass containers.

• Data Analysis & Reporting:

  Track production metrics, downtime, and yield. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management review.

• Safety & Compliance:

  Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations.

• Team Coordination:

  Supervise shift operators and technicians. Conduct training sessions to improve skill levels and operational discipline.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:

  B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Glass Technology.

• Experience:

  25 years in container glass manufacturing or related heavy industry.

• Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of IS machine operations
• Familiarity with forming, annealing, and inspection processes
• SAP or ERP system proficiency
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
