Production Coder or Medical Coder

Total Years of Experience: 2+ Years

Job Location: Noida

Work Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM

Work Mode: In Office

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Extensive healthcare industry knowledge and experience in coding, compliance and reimbursement for physician practices including CPT, HCPCS, & ICD-10-CM
• Extensive coding in multiple specialties including primary care, general surgery, orthopedics, etc
• Specific specialties include (but not limited to):
• All primary care
• Behavioral Health
• E/M
• Extensive knowledge of AMA, OIG, CMS and other national coding and compliance guidelines
• Broad understanding of CPT Assistants and Coding Clinics

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum 2 years professional production coding experience
• Extensive coding in specific specialties include (but not limited to):
• All primary care
• Behavioral Health
• E/M
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and deadline driven attitude
• Sound knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, and internet)
• Ability to multitask and keep a sense of urgency
• Ability to think critically
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong time management, organization skills, and work ethic

Job Duties:

• Accurately code medical records for evaluation and management services, diagnoses, and procedures
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
• Stay up-to-date on new and changing coding rules
• Responsible and accountable for maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected health information.
• Follow HIPAA security policies and procedures affecting your job, and report any suspected or actual violation or breach
• Maintain a minimum of 95% accuracy
• Maintain departmental or project specific productivity standards
• Requires long periods of time sitting and using keyboard and mouse
