Product Engineering Architect - Medical Imaging

CitiusTech is seeking a Product Engineering Architect specializing in Medical Imaging to spearhead the design and implementation of cloud-based imaging solutions for medical imaging clients. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Java/.NET platforms, medical imaging standards, and cloud-native architectures on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. This role necessitates a robust engineering background and architectural skills, combined with a comprehensive grasp of imaging domain essentials such as PACS, VNA, and diagnostic viewers. Responsibilities include architecting and steering the development of enterprise-grade imaging platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and regulatory-compliant architectures leveraging cloud-native services, translating clinical requirements into modular architecture patterns, defining best practices for image rendering and streaming, and advocating standards compliance. The role also involves collaborating with product managers and engineering leads, supporting delivery teams, ensuring regulatory standards adherence, and mentoring on cloud-native development and imaging platform best practices. The successful candidate should possess over 12 years of enterprise application development and architecture experience, with at least 5 years focused on medical imaging solutions. Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and/or .NET Core / C#, hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, expertise in DICOM, HL7, FHIR, and IHE profiles, familiarity with microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native development, and knowledge of regulated product development processes are essential. Additionally, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and certifications in cloud and/or imaging standards are preferred.
