Job Description

Job Summary:

Procurement Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement
procurement strategies and plans
covering devices, reagents, plastics, electronics, and packaging.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard
national and international vendors
, ensuring reliable supply chains.
Negotiate vendor contracts to secure
best-in-class pricing, quality, and lead times
.
Oversee
purchase orders (POs), stock inward, GRNs, and inventory control processes
.
Ensure
Just-in-Time (JIT) availability
of materials and optimize SKU management.
Monitor and manage
procurement budgets
, driving cost-efficiency across categories.
Maintain procurement-related documentation, including
MSDS, CoA, vendor agreements
, and ISO 13485 compliance records.
Ensure
regulatory compliance
(CDSCO, ISO, and quality norms) and audit readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including
Finance, Manufacturing, R&D, Admin, and Legal
for smooth procurement operations.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Electronics/Biomedical Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or related field.
35 years of experience in procurement/supply chain management, preferably in MedTech, electronics, pharma, or diagnostics.
Proven track record in vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
Proficiency in procurement and inventory management software.
Strong understanding of supply chain processes and quality compliance.
