As a Principal Networking Technical Architect at NTT DATA, your deep technical expertise is crucial in transforming complex business requirements into robust network solutions. Your responsibilities include creating technology roadmaps aligned with strategic direction, business requirements, and resource constraints. Leading the analysis and development of long-term strategic plans, you ensure network capacity meets current and future demands. Acting as a trusted technical advisor for clients, you provide pre-sales support and craft solutions tailored to their specific needs and objectives. Collaborating with internal stakeholders, you design comprehensive solutions covering physical domains, networking protocols, cloud services, and hardware. Your role involves driving the development of technical specifications, ensuring a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery, and overseeing proof of concept (POC) initiatives. You will be responsible for producing detailed technical design documents, developing pricing formats, and creating network diagrams. Additionally, you will influence the sales team, manage client engagements, and align technical solutions with organizational capabilities and client needs. To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of network protocols, topologies, and security, proficiency in routing and switching, wireless networks, and IP addressing. Knowledge of IoT, big data, network management, quality of service, virtualization, and cloud computing is essential. Familiarity with key vendor subscription models such as Cisco EA 3.0 is preferred. Professional experience in software development, systems design and deployment, or networking and infrastructure within a large-scale technology services environment is required. Experience in project management methodologies and network management, including fault and performance management systems is beneficial. Strong client engagement skills, technical consulting abilities, and effective collaboration and communication with team members and stakeholders are essential. A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is necessary for this role.
