Are you passionate about building large-scale, data-intensive distributed systems
Were looking for a Principal / Senior Data Engineer to work on cutting-edge data ingestion pipelines and distributed product engineering for one of the worlds leading graph data science companies.Roles & Responsibilities Understand design specifications and follow best practices for core product engineering.Build data ingestion pipelines for distributed systems with parallel processing in Golang, C++, or Java.Develop solutions for:o Ingestion from cloud storage (Amazon S3, Azure, GCP), databases (Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL), files, Kafka, data lakehouse (Iceberg).o High-availability (HA) loading, cross-region replication.o Monitoring/error reporting of ingestion processes.o Third-party integrations: Kafka, Kafka Connect.Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to CI/CD workflows.Proficiency & SkillsMust HaveStrong knowledge of distributed systems for large-scale, data-intensive applications.Proficiency in Java or Golang.Deep expertise in Kafka (Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, Kafka Security/Customization).Hands-on experience with Apache Spark & building Spark connectors.Linux fundamentals & shell scripting.Nice to HavegRPC protocol & multi-threaded programming.Zookeeper / ETCD / Consul.Docker & Kubernetes.Familiarity with distributed consensus algorithms (Paxos / Raft).
