Principal Infrastructure Eng. - Network

As a candidate for the position, your role will involve building, testing, and deploying Load Balancer & WAF based security solutions. You will need to coordinate and collaborate across teams to ensure end-to-end project delivery. Additionally, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and decommissioning Load Balancers and WAFs. You should have a working knowledge of Hardware Appliance and Virtual Load Balancers in hybrid public cloud environments, as well as BGP/OSPF routing protocols. Your ability to analyze network traffic on load balancers and identify connectivity drops along the network path will be crucial. You will also need to ensure that the configuration of rules complies with security standards and troubleshoot network connectivity issues. Implementing and enforcing security policies on Load Balancers and WAFs, performing regular software and security updates, and administering load balancers and virtual private networks (VPNs) will be part of your responsibilities. You will be required to design and implement security solutions to secure enterprise networks, configure and manage Load Balancer policies and controls via Management servers, monitor network activity, enforce strong policies, respond to security incidents, investigate potential security breaches, provide technical support, troubleshoot Load Balancer issues, and mentor junior team members while assisting with their technical development. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of network design and implementation experience within a large enterprise environment - 5+ years of experience in F5 Load balancing technologies (GTM, LTM, ASM, APM, AFM) - 5+ years of experience with Cisco networking technologies (routing/switching) - 5+ years of experience with firewall products and technologies - Experience with forward or reverse proxy technologies is a plus - Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming/scripting languages: Python, Unix - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication - Strong work ethic with a results-oriented mindset - Ability to collaborate with different roles and different levels across different teams to achieve common goals - Demonstrated leadership and collaboration skills in a large enterprise environment - F5 certifications are preferred but not required; equivalent experience is acceptable Additional Company Details: Immediate joiners are preferred for this position.,
