Principal Digital Engineer

As a Front-End Developer in the Digital Design discipline, you will be responsible for building a dynamic and responsive user interface on our technology platform. Your key responsibilities will include contributing to UI experiences, managing projects and reports, coaching and mentoring other developers, leading code/design reviews, and building functionality for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. You will work on multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing code optimization, refactoring, bug fixing, and conducting peer reviews. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Advanced Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. You should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Front-end development, along with expertise in GIS technologies, particularly Esri/ArcGIS libraries and React. Proficiency in modern HTML, CSS, JavaScript (specifically using Typescript), RESTful APIs, and third-party libraries is required. Strong problem-solving, debugging skills, and knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Redux, SCSS, and testing frameworks are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with CI/CD, Object-Oriented design, security management, caching techniques, cloud technologies, NPM packages creation, Agile methodologies, integration testing, and contributing to application architecture/design.
