Summary:
We are seeking a Salesforce GTM (Sales, Marketing cloud) Lead to drive delivery, optimization, and continuous enhancement of Salesforce Sales and Marketing solutions. This role combines technical and functional expertise with a strong business-facing orientation, supporting project execution, enhancements, releases, and technical debt management. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience, leads initiatives, collaborates closely with stakeholders, and contributes to building scalable, efficient, and reliable Salesforce platforms in a global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of Salesforce Sales and Marketing solutions across projects, enhancements, and releases, ensuring alignment with business priorities and quality expectations.
- Take ownership of end-to-end initiatives, including defining scope, impact, timelines, and priorities.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, align expectations, and drive successful solution adoption.
- Identify and proactively address technical debt, ensuring ongoing platform health, scalability, and stability.
- Drive initiatives for system stability, process improvements, automation opportunities, and enhanced user experience.
- Facilitate effective communication across global teams (US and India), ensuring smooth coordination and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in technical discussions, translate business needs into actionable solutions, and contribute to high-quality Salesforce deliveries.
- Provide regular project and task status updates, proactively determining appropriate update frequency based on priority and criticality.
- Serve as a key point of escalation for delivery and operational issues, helping drive resolution and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to DevOps and release management practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and deployment strategies.
- Encourage a collaborative, solution-oriented approach within cross-functional teams, supporting broader business transformation goals.
- Continuously enhance technical skills and contribute to innovation through adoption of best practices and new technologies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 8+ years of strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales and Marketing clouds, ideally in fast-paced, global organizations.
- Proven experience implementing and developing in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Java.
- Strong functional understanding of Lead-to-Cash business processes, with practical experience supporting Sales and Marketing workflows.
- In-depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and experience building robust integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
- Hands-on expertise in Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration strategies.
- Experience delivering enhancements, releases, and addressing technical debt within Salesforce platforms.
- Proactive, solution-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams.
- Experience working across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and hands-on involvement in CI/CD and release automation frameworks.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Sales Cloud Consultant, CPQ Specialist, Administrator) are an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of Community Cloud, Service Cloud or CPQ is a plus.
- Exposure to integration between Salesforce and boundary systems such as NetSuite, Coveo, Partner Portals etc.
- Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools and automation platforms like Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, or equivalent.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and contribute to process optimization and delivery excellence.
