Role Overview:

As a PreSales Engineer, you will be a crucial bridge between our sales and technical teams, providing expert product demonstrations, technical guidance, and customized solutions to potential clients. You will play a key role in driving sales by showcasing the value and capabilities of Zoho's Products.


Responsibilities:


● Lead discovery to map business goals, pain points, stakeholders, and success criteria.

● Deliver tailored product demos that show value, not features.

● Plan and run PoCs.

● Own technical sections of RFPs/RFIs and build a reusable content library.

● Draft statements of work, estimates, and implementation plans.

● Build and maintain demo environments, sample data, and scripts.

● Capture market feedback and share it with Product to influence the roadmap.

● Enable partners with product training.

● Keep CRM notes tight: discovery details, PoC plans, risks, next steps, and win/loss reasons.

● Track presales KPIs like demo-to-PoC conversion, cycle time, win rate, and PoC pass rate.

● Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings, providing insights to the sales team.


Qualifications:


● Minimum 1 year in presales, solutions engineering, product consulting, or technical support with direct customer exposure.

● Strong communication skills. Clear writing and confident presentation on calls and in rooms.

● Sharp problem-solving with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

● Excellent spoken and written English.

● Comfortable with night shifts.

● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
