Pre-silicon Performance / TLM Modeling Engineer

As part of Qualcomm India Private Limited's Engineering Group in the Systems Engineering department, you will be responsible for developing Performance Models for the next generation System-on-chip (SoC) for various product categories like smartphones, IoT, Auto, etc. Your main tasks will include developing IP Models for Peripherals such as PCIe, Ethernet, USB, UFS, and verifying the IP/System Level use cases. You will collaborate with the Hardware & Software teams to understand design requirements, specifications, and interface details. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to propose architecture and design changes aimed at optimizing power, performance, and thermal aspects for the chipset. This role will also involve being part of Qualcomm's performance team. Key Responsibilities: - Experience in SystemC/TLM 2.0 modelling. - Understanding of protocols in IPs like PCIe, CXL, Ethernet, USB, UFS. - Proficiency in C/C++ based model development and SoC integration. - Good understanding of bus protocols such as AXI, AHB, QSB. - Ability to work in a team environment requiring close collaboration with multiple stakeholders. - Understanding of DDR design and performance aspects at SOC level. - Familiarity with SOC DV/VI/RUMI/performance validation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR - Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience. OR - PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
