Job Description

Job Summary:

Power BI Developer


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, publish, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Extract and transform data from Oracle EBS for business intelligence purposes.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data models and visualizations.
  • Optimize DAX queries, Power Query (M), and data refresh performance.
  • Work closely with Oracle DBAs and EBS functional/technical teams to understand table structures and business logic.
  • Implement row-level security and manage user access permissions in Power BI.
  • Perform data validations and ensure report accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot Power BI issues related to performance or data accuracy.
  • Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and apply best practices in BI development.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
  • Strong hands-on experience with

    Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite)

    – understanding of modules like AP, AR, GL, PO, OM, INV, etc.
  • Solid SQL skills – ability to write complex queries and work with Oracle databases.
  • Experience with Power Query (M language), DAX, and Power BI Service.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS data structures and customizations.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and tools (SSIS, ADF, or similar is a plus).
  • Experience in data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle BI Publisher, Discoverer, or OBIEE.
  • Prior experience in ERP reporting and finance/supply chain domains.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Oracle Cloud).
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
