Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Develop, design, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions that meet business needs.
Transform raw data from multiple sources into meaningful insights using Power BI.
Optimize Power BI reports and datasets for performance and usability.
Conduct data analysis and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI reports and dashboards.
Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
Work closely with the data engineering team to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role (2+ years preferred).
Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M language), and DAX.
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Familiarity with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Ability to interpret complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of other BI tools and programming languages (Python, R, Azure) is a plus.
