Power Bi Developer

We are a fast-growing ERP software company delivering solutions to construction companies, including desktop and mobile apps for project management, procurement, HRMS, BOQ tracking, and more. Our platforms are used by hundreds of clients across multiple regions, and we are now looking to add dynamic data visualization and insights capabilities through Power BI.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Power BI Developer to take ownership of our BI and reporting functions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying dashboards and reports connected to our ERP databases and ensuring they are seamlessly embedded into our ERP login environments (CUG, UAT, Production). The reports will support multi-client access control, and data must be filtered according to each users access rights.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports based on ERP data models.

Build robust data models using Power BI (DAX, Power Query, SQL).

Implement dynamic Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure clients only see their own data.

Connect Power BI to multiple data sources (SQL Server, APIs, etc.).

Work closely with product, QA, and development teams to ensure reports align with ERP workflows.

Deploy and maintain reports across multiple environments (CUG UAT Live).

Work with developers to embed Power BI reports into our ERP and mobile platforms.

Monitor data refresh schedules and report performance.

Document data models, DAX logic, and report functionalities.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have:

3–5 years of experience in Power BI report development.

Strong skills in DAX, Power Query (M), and SQL.

Experience with Power BI Service (publishing, refresh, security).

Proven ability to implement Row-Level Security (RLS) — both static and dynamic.

Hands-on experience with embedding Power BI into web applications (Power BI Embedded / REST API / JS SDK).

Familiarity with managing reports across multi-stage environments (Test, UAT, Production).

Experience working with large datasets and performance tuning.

Comfortable working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience in the construction or ERP domain.

Knowledge of embedding reports in mobile apps or SPAs.

Familiarity with Azure services, Power Automate, or CI/CD pipelines.
