Power BI Analyst

You will be responsible for leading the migration of dashboards and reports from QlikView/Qlik Sense to Power BI, ensuring consistency in data logic, design, and user experience. Your role will involve designing, building, and optimizing scalable, interactive Power BI dashboards to support key business decisions. You will also be required to write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation. Collaborating with business users, analysts, and data engineers to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions will be a key part of your responsibilities. Leveraging data modeling and DAX to build robust and reusable datasets in Power BI is another essential aspect of the role. You will perform data validation and QA to ensure accuracy during and post-migration and work closely with Snowflake-based datasets or assist in transitioning data sources to Snowflake where applicable. Your role will include translating healthcare data metrics into actionable insights and visualizations. To excel in this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics roles. A strong expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, custom visuals, and row-level security is required. Hands-on experience with QlikView or Qlik Sense, especially in migration scenarios, is essential. Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, performance tuning, and stored procedures, is a must. Exposure to Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery) is preferred. Experience working with healthcare datasets (claims, clinical, EMR/EHR data, etc.) is considered a strong advantage. You should possess a strong analytical and problem-solving mindset along with effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
