Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, triggers, and functions for mission-critical applications.
• Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance for high-volume environments.
• Perform SQL query tuning, execution plan analysis, and index optimization.
• Leverage Oracle tools (AWR, ADDM, SQL Trace, TKPROF) for in-depth performance diagnostics and tuning.
• Participate in planning and executing Oracle database upgrades (e.g., 12c/19c to 23c).
• Collaborate with application developers and DBAs to improve application performance and scalability.
• Work closely with DBAs to ensure zero/minimal downtime during migrations and upgrades.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for database development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance-related issues in production and non-production environments.
• Assist in database schema design and contribute to data architecture discussions.
• Document technical designs, processes, and implementation details.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL development in Oracle environments.
• Proven expertise in writing complex stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Deep understanding of query optimization, execution plans, and Oracle indexing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with performance tuning tools (e.g., Oracle AWR, ADDM, SQL Trace, TKPROF).
• Experience working with large datasets, data migration, and ETL logic.
• Proficient in Oracle database concepts (12c, 19c, or later).
• Ability to analyze bottlenecks and propose robust solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
