Job Description As aSenior Analyst / Senior Software Test Engineer, you will collaborate closely with small cross-functional teams to deliver high-value features in short iterations. You are the team member that everyone wants in their sprint planning meetings because you find all the holes in the planning process before any code is written. Ability to apply systems thinking to the entire software development lifecycle Ability to define and implement test strategies for complex product features, working with cross-functional teams to ensure complete test coverage across different layers of the product (functional, performance, security, etc.). Solid understanding of technologies that are used on our projects and how they work together Ability to track, prioritize, and report software defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira) Solid understanding of Software Quality Assurance processes and tools. Ability to identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies. The individual has to have practical coding experience in JavaScript and jQuery, as well as working knowledge of HTML and CSS, including expertise in media queries and responsive design. They also should have exposure to HBS templating and hands-on coding experience with NodeJS. Additionally, they should have experience in unit testing using Mocha and Chai, and familiarity with Playwright automation is a plus. The person possesses strong debugging skills. Solid design and programming experience and very strong in programming disciplines like object oriented principles, design patterns, data structures and unit testing Knowledge of micro-service-based architecture and deployment model is a plus
