Platform Engineer responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage
data pipelines
using
Apache Airflow (Cloud Composer)
on GCP.
Build and optimize
ETL/ELT workflows
using
Dataflow
(Apache Beam).
Define and deploy
infrastructure-as-code
using
Terraform
to manage GCP resources.
Automate pipeline deployments, monitoring, and error handling using industry best practices.
Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability throughout data workflows.
Collaborate with data engineering, platform, and analytics teams to understand data requirements.
Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of cloud-based data workflows.
Support version control, CI/CD processes, and code reviews.
Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards across cloud infrastructure
