Platform Engineer

As a Platform Engineer in this high-growth startup environment based in Chennai with a permanent remote work mode, your primary focus will be on model deployment, infrastructure management, cost optimization, and performance scaling. You will be expected to be hands-on with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Your role will require a Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach, proficiency in unit testing, and a High-Level Design (HLD) and problem-solving mindset. Your main expectation will be to build infrastructure from scratch, deploy models effectively, and optimize systems for efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Focus on model deployment, infrastructure management, cost optimization, and performance scaling. - Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP. - Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and maintain a problem-solving mindset. - Build infrastructure from scratch, deploy models, and optimize systems. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in building and deploying large-scale platforms. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Javascript, or Go. - Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and infrastructure orchestration tools. - Strong understanding of distributed systems principles and microservices architecture. - Experience with event-driven architecture using tools like RabbitMQ. - Familiarity with NoSQL and RDBMS databases. - Experience working with APIs and front-end technologies like React. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with specific LLM deployment environments being a plus. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.,
