Platform Architect - Ingenium

The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for creating target solution architecture for modernization and transformation initiatives involving core insurance platforms. You will collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders to obtain approvals for the proposed architecture. Your role will entail designing and architecting cost-effective solutions that meet key business requirements and timelines. You will be expected to select, architect, and optimize solutions using cloud services, with AWS as the preferred platform. Furthermore, you will work closely with various IT teams to ensure the proposed design is implemented without any deviations. As the accountable individual, you will be required to address any technical impediments that may arise in the proposed solution promptly. Additionally, responding to technical issues professionally and in a timely manner will be a key aspect of this role. Key qualifications for this position include a minimum of 15 years of experience in a large IT organization, with a strong background in the insurance sector. You should have at least 3-5 years of experience in a solution design and architect role. Familiarity with Policy admin systems is preferred, as well as expertise with Ingenium. Experience in leading modernization and digital transformation projects, integrating on-premise applications to cloud infrastructure, and understanding security requirements and infrastructure design is essential. The successful candidate will have proven experience in using Agile methodologies for development, with a focus on frequent sprints for business benefits realization. Experience in leading the design and/or development of solutions with a virtual team in remote locations is advantageous. An understanding of the Financial Services industry at the regional level, particularly in Individual Life, Asset Management, Pension, and Group Business, is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills are crucial for this role, as you will be engaging in conversations at all levels of senior management. Your ability to select appropriate tools for platform delivery and drive successful outcomes in a collaborative environment will be key to your success in this position.,
