Plant Manager

Experience: 8+ years of experience in manufacturing management, with a minimum of 2 years in a plant management role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Oversight:o Manage all aspects of plant operations, including production, maintenance, and logistics.o Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demand and optimize resource utilization.2. Team Leadership:o Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.o Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching to enhance employee skills and productivity.3. Quality Control:o Ensure that products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.o Implement and maintain quality management systems and processes.4. Safety Management:o Promote a safe working environment by adhering to safety regulations and conducting regular safety training and audits.o Investigate and address any safety incidents or compliance issues.5. Budget Management:o Develop and manage the plant budget, monitoring expenses and implementing cost-control measures.o Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure profitability.6. Process Improvement:o Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.o Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies to drive continuous improvement.7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:o Work closely with other departments, such as engineering, supply chain, and sales, to ensure alignment and support business objectives.o Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.8. Reporting and Analysis:o Prepare and present operational reports to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and improvement initiatives.o Utilize data analysis to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree is a plus.
