Pipeline Engineer

You will be a part of the Pipelines team at bp Technical Solutions India (TSI) in Pune, working as a pipeline engineer to support bp's operations globally. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support for pipeline engineering in various regions. - Support execution and assessment of subsea inspection campaigns and defining repair requirements. - Manage subsea and pipeline integrity management data in the NEXUS-IC database and Anomaly Assessment & Tracking system. - Assist in managing inspection and engineering data in GIS (PODS) and improve accessibility to documents in the Electronic Document Management System. - Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for performance management support. - Conduct risk assessment, integrity management plan development, maintenance, inspection, and repair execution engineering support. - Provide timely updates on inspections and repairs, lead pipeline integrity and improvement activities, and offer expertise as the Equipment Owner for pipeline-related equipment. - Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure equipment care and safety, reliability, and compliance in operations. - Own and maintain documents and data for assigned equipment, assess anomalies, and initiate necessary actions. - Prepare, review, and endorse pipeline-related metrics and support incident investigations and learning processes. - Provide technical management of subsea contractors. - MSc or MEng preferred, BEng or BSc with relevant engineering discipline. - Professional accreditation like Professional Engineer. - Technical expertise in risk assessment, pipeline engineering, corrosion, fitness for service, and geospatial data management. - Practical application of engineering standards and practices for pipeline engineering. - Leadership skills, networking abilities, and influencing across organizational boundaries.
