Full-Stack PHP + React Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using PHP, React, and JavaScript frameworks.
  
• Create modern, responsive, and accessible UI components that deliver excellent user experiences across web and mobile platforms.
  
• Deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable back-end solutions using PHP and related technologies.
  
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality releases.
  
• Work closely with QA, DevOps, and Product teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of features.
  
• Perform thorough code reviews and mentor peers in both front-end and back-end best practices.
  
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and usability across devices and browsers.
  
• Implement and automate code analysis (SAST/DAST) and composition analysis (SCA) to maintain secure development standards.
  
• Contribute to and refine the DevOps pipeline and CI/CD process for faster deployments.
  
• Constantly improve the architecture, UI design systems, and reduce technical debt.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 8+ years of professional experience in PHP, JavaScript, React, and MySQL.
  
• Strong knowledge of responsive design principles, UI frameworks, and CSS pre-processors (SCSS/LESS).
  
• Experience in building component-driven front-ends using React and integrating them with RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
  
• Solid grasp of UI/UX design fundamentals, accessibility standards (WCAG), and browser compatibility.
  
• Proficiency in version control (GitHub), Shell scripting, and Nginx configurations.
  
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS (IaaS, PaaS).
  
• Familiar with DevOps workflows, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Strong understanding of MVC design patterns and PHP web frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony).
  
• Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments with a collaborative and iterative approach.
  
• Exposure to healthcare or clinical research domains is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with security standards such as HIPAA, HITECH, HITRUST, PHI/PII, and frameworks like OWASP, PCI-DSS, CIS, SOC2, FedRAMP.
