We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our team on an immediate contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in PHP (7.x / 8.x) and modern frameworks such as Laravel and Livewire, with proven experience in designing and optimizing scalable, high-performance backend and frontend systems.

This role requires strong technical acumen, hands-on development skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of robust and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications using Laravel, Livewire, and Tailwind
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend components
Optimize database performance and queries (MySQL, Oracle)
Collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and AWS deployments
Conduct debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization to meet scalability requirements
Implement automated unit, integration, and functional testing (PHPUnit, Pest)
Ensure compliance with coding standards, security practices, and clean architecture principles

Required Skills & Expertise

Proficiency in PHP (7.x / 8.x) with solid OOP principles
Strong knowledge of Laravel, Livewire, Tailwind
Hands-on experience with REST API development (JSON, OAuth2/JWT)
Database expertise: MySQL, Oracle (query optimization)
Familiarity with ReactJS, Next.js, Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript
DevOps tools: Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
Experience with AWS cloud services and LAMP stack
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and system design capabilities

Proven track record of delivering high-quality projects within deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Ability to understand and maintain complex existing PHP systems
