Role: PHP Backend Developer Location: Coimbatore Employment Type: Full-time | On-site Role Description: We are seeking a skilled and results-driven PHP Backend Developer to join our growing tech team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality web applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams on both back-end and front-end development, contributing to end-to-end software development initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and modern frameworks. Work with Laravel, CodeIgniter, and other relevant technologies to build robust solutions. Handle Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and follow best coding practices. Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements. Develop and consume APIs, ensuring seamless integration with third-party services. Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and security. Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product to ensure strong functionality and reliability. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. Qualifications2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in PHP development. Strong knowledge of PHP frameworks like Laravel and CodeIgniter. Proficiency in MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, and JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS preferred). Experience in API development and integration. Solid understanding of OOP concepts, web architecture, and MVC frameworks. Ability to develop scalable, maintainable, and clean code. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
