Performance QA Engineer

As a Performance QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the performance and scalability of our platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement performance testing strategies, identify bottlenecks, and ensure our applications can handle high user loads efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance Testing

  : Develop and execute comprehensive performance test plans and scenarios.

• Automation:

  Build and maintain automated performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner.

• Monitoring and Analysis

  : Continuously monitor system performance and analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and potential improvements.

• Collaboration

  : Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to incorporate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Optimization

  : Provide recommendations for performance enhancements and collaborate with teams to implement solutions.

• Documentation:

  Document performance test plans, methodologies, and results for internal use and stakeholders.

• Environment Management:

  Maintain and simulate performance test environments that closely mimic production conditions.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience

  : 2-5 years of experience in performance testing and quality assurance.

• Technical Expertise

  : Proficiency in performance testing tools such as Gatling or K6.

• Scripting Skills

  : Strong scripting skills with languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java.

• Understanding of SaaS Architecture

  : In-depth understanding of SaaS, cloud environments, and microservices architecture.

• Analytical Skills

  : Ability to analyze complex systems and diagnose performance issues effectively.

• CI/CD Integration

  : Experience integrating performance tests within CI/CD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of database performance testing (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Exposure to API performance testing and optimization.
