PCB Layout Designer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work on PCB CAD tools OrCAD Capture CIS and Cadence Allegro for multilayer PCB design
• Selection of OEM components like ICs, Transistors, Controllers, SSRs, Op amps, diodes
• Good understanding of Signal Integrity, EMI/EMC concepts, PCB DFM constraints
• Participates in the conceptualization, detail engineering, development, documentation of electronic board design
• Study and recommend corrective/improvement solutions for technical challenges/new products in PCB layout designs
• Create and Release system level PCB drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.
• Well versed with Part life cycle management, Obsolescence management activities.
• Collaborates with other departments for procurement and assembly of electrical components/equipment.

Mandatory Skills:

• Hands on experience in multilayer PCB layout design
• Min 5 years of hands on experience with PCB CAD Tool

• Basic understanding of electronic components and its packages
• Knowledge of fundamentals of basic electronics
• Signal integrity and EMI EMC concepts

Desirable Skills:

• Circuit simulations using Pspice
• Power dissipation and thermal analysis
• Testing and trouble shooting of PCB assemblies
