Panel Wiring Engineer

Role Overview: You will be joining our electrical engineering team as a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Wiring Engineer. Your main responsibility will be to assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels based on technical drawings and specifications, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of industrial automation systems. Key Responsibilities: - Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings. - Assemble and wire control panels, junction boxes, and enclosures. - Install components such as PLCs, relays, contactors, circuit breakers, and terminal blocks. - Perform continuity checks, insulation resistance tests, and functional testing. - Troubleshoot and resolve wiring issues or component failures. - Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures. - Maintain accurate documentation of wiring changes and panel layouts. - Collaborate with design engineers and project managers to implement design updates. Qualifications: - Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. - Proven experience in panel wiring or electrical assembly. - Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring practices. - Knowledge of safety standards and regulations. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. - Familiarity with tools such as multimeters, crimpers, and wire strippers. - Good communication and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with PLC programming or automation systems. - Knowledge of UL/IEC standards. - Familiarity with lean manufacturing or 5S practices.
