Role Overview

The Outsourcing Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential outsourcing partners/vendors for garment manufacturing.
• Negotiate contracts, timelines, and pricing with external suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Ensure all outsourced production meets the company’s quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
• Resolve any production or supply chain issues with outsourcing partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Design, Merchandising, and Quality Control.
• Conduct regular vendor performance reviews and maintain strong business relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and legal regulations.
• Optimize outsourcing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in outsourcing/vendor management within the apparel/fashion industry.
• Strong understanding of garment production processes, fabrics, and quality standards.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Knowledge of compliance and ethical sourcing standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Proven experience working with vendors internationally eg. China, Bangladesh,etc
