Job Description

As a member of the CBTS Enterprise Programs team, your role will involve assisting in OT Network deployment and Operational Support. You will engage with customers to conduct high and low-level network discovery, draft firewall policy requirements, and design network segmentation. Your responsibilities will include presenting designs to customers and security for approval, as well as implementing changes following the agreed process. Additionally, you will provide Service Transition and Operations support in a large enterprise global network. Reporting to the Program lead, you will be tasked with completing assignments from customers, project managers, and the program lead. Your typical workday will be Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work outside regular business hours for change implementation and on-call incident resolution. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently and in a team, possess strong documentation skills, and be able to educate others on the environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design, document, and implement network and firewall solutions (60%) - Provide operational support as a technical escalation resource within the team (20%) - Document Design/Implementation proposals for peer and security review (20%) - Collaborate with project managers on tasks related to project activities (10%) Qualifications Required: Education: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering Discipline - Completion of Vocation School in Network/Security/Computer Technology Accreditations/Certifications: - Cisco CCNP Route Switch and Firewall Certifications (Highly Desired) - Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE - ITILv3 or 4 Previous Job Experience: - 4+ years of experience - Proficiency in Check-Point CLI and GUI, routing, trunking, ether-channeling, troubleshooting, ACL deployment, etc. - Experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls - Understanding of LAN switching and WAN routing protocols in an enterprise environment - Ability to build firewall policies and implement secure connectivity solutions - Experience in analyzing current connectivity and traffic flows for OT connectivity solutions - Previous experience in planning implementations, building test plans, and troubleshooting methodology Special Knowledge/Skills: - Familiarity with OT protocols and typical functional components such as OPCUA, MQTT, PLCs, SCADA, CNC systems, etc. - Knowledge of Building Management and Building Automation Systems - AWS familiarity This job opportunity at CBTS provides a chance to work with cutting-edge technology and offers the potential for a long-term career growth within the company.
