Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Oracle TRCS (Tax Reporting Cloud Service) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle TRCS applications to meet our organization's financial reporting and tax compliance requirements. This role involves collaborating with finance and tax teams to translate business needs into effective technical solutions and ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement Oracle TRCS applications. Configure TRCS metadata, data forms, security, and data validations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document reporting and tax provisioning requirements.
  • Develop and maintain complex business rules, calculations, and reports within TRCS using tools like Smart View and EPM Automate.
  • Support data integrations with ERP source systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion, EBS) and other EPM tools, ensuring data governance and integrity.
  • Coordinate and perform system testing (UAT), troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues, and provide post-implementation support.
  • Create and maintain technical and functional documentation, as well as train and support end-users on TRCS functionalities and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements related to tax and financial processes.
  • Ensure compliance with security and access controls within the TRCS system and support tax reporting and audit requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle TRCS or related EPM/Hyperion tax modules.
  • Experience in writing complex business rules and member formulas.
  • Strong understanding of data integration processes (e.g., FDMEE, DM).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and pivot tables, and experience with SQL.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and corporate tax compliance/provisioning processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience in at least one successful end-to-end TRCS implementation project.
  • Knowledge of other Oracle Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, etc.) is advantageous.
