Job Summary

Oracle Technical Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using

  Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  , including REST, SOAP, File, and FTP adapters.
• Work on integrations across

  Oracle Fusion Cloud modules

  (ERP, HCM, SCM, Finance, Procurement, Projects, etc.).
• Develop extensions, reports, and technical solutions using

  BIP, OTBI, VBCS, PCS, and PaaS components

  as required.
• Perform requirement gathering, solution design, technical documentation, and implementation of integration solutions.
  
• Support data migrations, transformations, and error-handling frameworks within OIC.
  
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver seamless integration solutions.
  
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize integration performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  
• Work on

  REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, B2B integrations (EDI/XML), and SaaS to On-Premise connectivity

  .
• Ensure compliance with Oracle best practices, security standards, and governance models.
  
• Provide post-implementation support, knowledge transfer, and user training as needed.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years

  of experience as an

  Oracle Technical Consultant

  , with at least

  3+ years in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  .
• Strong expertise in

  OIC integration patterns

  (app-driven orchestration, scheduled orchestration, file-based, B2B).
• Hands-on experience with

  Fusion Cloud technical components

  :
• BIP (BI Publisher), OTBI, Fast Formulas
  
• VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service)
  
• PCS (Process Cloud Service)
  
• Strong proficiency in

  Web Services (SOAP/REST), JSON, XML, XSLT, XSD, and WSDL

  .
• Experience in

  data migration and FBDI/ADFdi templates

  .
• Knowledge of

  security (OAuth, SAML, SSL), encryption, and integration best practices

  .
• Familiarity with

  SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle DB concepts

  .
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with

  OIC B2B integrations

  (EDI, cXML, etc.).
• Exposure to

  Oracle PaaS (OCI, DBaaS, API Gateway, Functions, etc.)

  .
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps tools for integration deployments (Git, Jenkins, CI/CD).
  
• Oracle certifications in

  OIC or Fusion Cloud

  .
