Position: IT Applications Support Team Oracle Tech Lead (Financials & Procurement)

Oracle Tech Lead

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Architecture, Solution Design & Development

• Lead the

  technical design and development

  of Oracle Financials modules —

  Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.

• Provide technical guidance and architecture strategy for Oracle Financials implementations, enhancements, and upgrades.
• Oversee the design and development of

  Oracle Procurement

  modules such as

  Purchasing, iProcurement, Procurement Contracts, Sourcing, and GRN process.

• Build and deploy

  custom extensions, workflows, interfaces, and reports

  using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, OAF, and related Oracle development tools.
• Ensure compliance with Oracle standards and promote best practices for scalable, maintainable solutions.

2. Integration & Data Management

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using

  Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  ,

  SOA Suite

  ,

  REST/SOAP APIs

  , and

  Web Services

  for cross-platform connectivity.
• Integrate Oracle Financials with Procurement and other enterprise applications, ensuring consistency and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Manage

  data migration, conversion, and validation

  to maintain data integrity across modules and environments.

3. Compliance, Security & Controls

• Implement and manage

  Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC)

  and ensure data security for sensitive financial and procurement information.
• Configure

  audit trails

  within Oracle Fusion for financial and procurement transactions.
• Ensure adherence to

  statutory, accounting, and data protection regulations

  , including internal audit and compliance requirements.

4. Reporting & Analytics

• Develop and optimize financial and procurement reports using

  Oracle BI Publisher (BIP)

  ,

  OTBI

  , and

  Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC)

• Deliver

  real-time dashboards and analytics

  for management decision-making and financial performance tracking.
• Automate reporting processes to improve visibility and accuracy across Finance and Procurement functions.

5. Support, Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization

• Provide

  end-to-end technical support

  for Oracle Financials and Procurement modules.
• Troubleshoot system and integration issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
• Monitor and enhance application performance and reliability through proactive maintenance.

6. Collaboration, Documentation & Knowledge Management

• Partner with

  Finance, Procurement, and IT functional teams

  to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Document

  system configurations, customization designs, and integration workflows

  for internal use and audits.
• Conduct training and knowledge-sharing sessions for internal teams on Oracle Financials and Procurement functionalities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 7–14 years

  of hands-on experience with

  Oracle Fusion and EBS

  (primarily Financials, plus Procurement).
• Proficiency in

  PL/SQL, OAF, Oracle Forms, OIC, SOA Suite, REST/SOAP APIs, Web Services.

• Strong understanding of

  financial processes, accounting principles

  , and

  procurement workflows.

• Expertise in developing and maintaining reports using

  BI Publisher, OTBI, and OAC.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
