We are seeking a skilled Oracle Database Administrator to manage and optimize our Oracle database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database integrity, security, and performance while supporting business operations and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database software.
Design and implement database structures with high\-level security features.
Monitor database performance and optimize queries for efficiency.
Manage user access, roles, and security permissions.
Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
Troubleshoot database issues and ensure high availability.
Apply patches, updates, and service packs to maintain system stability.
Collaborate with developers to improve database integration.
Plan for future database expansion and scalability.
Requirements
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.

At least 8 years\experience as an Oracle DBA in a medium to large size company.

Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, services, SQL, and PL\/SQL.

Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.

Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Excellent problem\-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communications skills and prior experience (at least 3 years) leading junior DBAs
Preferred Skills

Experience with Oracle Cloud or other cloud\-based database solutions on either AWS, GCP or Microsoft Azure.

Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

Certifications like Oracle Certified DBA (OCP) or cloud certifications are a plus.
