Oracle Apex Developer, Environmental Services Platform

As a Senior Oracle APEX Developer at our client, a leader in Environmental Services in North America, you will play a key role in migrating our existing Oracle Forms-based application to Oracle APEX. Your responsibilities will include integrating the APEX application with our web application, ensuring seamless single sign-on (SSO) functionality, synchronizing permission settings, and reusing web application UI components within APEX. You will be working with a technology stack that includes Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL, along with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. Your primary focus will be on providing a smooth migration process, developing and maintaining integration points between Oracle APEX and web applications, and optimizing APEX applications for performance and scalability. Collaboration will be a key aspect of your role as you work closely with front-end and back-end developers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Your strong problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Oracle APEX and web application integration will be essential in this position. To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle APEX development. Proficiency in Oracle APEX, SQL, PL/SQL, and experience with web technologies and SSO mechanisms are also required. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, version control systems like Git, and experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) will be advantageous.
