Plant Operator Role Description
Plant Operators are responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations of the Glass Water Bottling Plant. This includes maintaining hygiene and grooming standards, operating machinery efficiently to meet production targets, ensuring product quality, maintaining plant cleanliness, and accurate documentation. Operators work closely with the maintenance team to uphold equipment reliability and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Plant Operation & Production
- Operate bottling, capping, washing, and packaging machines as per SOP.
- Achieve daily production targets with minimal downtime.
- Monitor machine performance and report any abnormalities promptly.
Hygiene & Plant Cleanliness
- Maintain personal hygiene and grooming standards at all times.
- Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of plant equipment and work areas.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene SOPs to meet quality standards.
Quality Control & Documentation
- Monitor quality parameters during production and take corrective action if required.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and production records daily.
- Report deviations in product quality or process immediately to supervisors.
Equipment Maintenance Support
- Assist maintenance teams by reporting faults and performing basic preventive maintenance.
- Follow safety procedures during all operations and maintenance activities.
Teamwork & Communication
- Coordinate with supervisors and peers to ensure smooth operations.
- Report issues and feedback promptly and accurately.

Good to Have
- Experience in glass bottling or water bottling plant operations.
